We have been struggling all these days for want of Justice for our Martyrs and 6th Schedule, amongst others. We have been crying and shouting in the streets. But we don't get the desired results.
Now we strongly felt it's meaningless to continue shouting in the streets without having someone who would stand by us at the Manipur Assembly.
Hence, Jantar Mantar regular Protesers (MTFD Regulars) made month long serious deliberations at Jantar Mantar every evening and eventually supported Pu Thangbiaklian Hangzo for 58-Churachandpur (ST) Assembly Constituency as this is where the epicenter of the tribal movement lies. In those month-long Deliberations the so called MTFD active members keep themselves away for reasons best known to them. They called themselves the active but how do they dare to called themselves the actives when they remain idle?
Some people says the people's movement will wane if we declared our support. This is my reply if they really feel for the People's Movement let them come out and join us in our Protest. They remain idle but fast in making complaint and grumbling. If they really want to further the people's movement, let them come out and carry the flame.
