UNITY

Now we all came to know that the price of UNITY is very high. Mao Incident (2010), Ukhrul Incident (2014), Moreh Incident in Chandel (July 2015). Those incidents failed to unite us. Our present UNITY is bought with a very high price (9 precious lives with multitude injuries).

This present spark gave no time for second thoughts. Our very bond of oneness as a tribal and sharing the same fate and experiencing the same threat and marginalisation gave no time for consultations but the instincts of self-defence for common good quickly came to play.

Before we could have consultations and sitting together under calm atmosphere for bringing our unity to a shape and ponder upon how to sustain it, we were quickly brought to a set of TESTS of Unity.

At this juncture, we each have to have a far-sighted approach. Disintegrating back to square one, aspiring for the age-old selfish tribe-based goals will lead only to NOWHERE. We'll be like crabs in a pot which always pulls themselves down rather than working together to earn freedom from that very pot of bondage.

Let's not be like crabs for the sake of our future generations, even if not for us.
