TIMELINE & IMPORTANT DATES REGARDING 3 ANTI-TRIBAL BILLS

31.08.2015: 3 anti Tribal Bills Passed. Protest erupted in Manipur and elsewhere. Epicenter: Lamka.

01.9.2015: MTFD formed in Delhi NCR.

02.9.2015: JAC-AATB formed in Lamka, Manipur.

04.11.2015: Indefinite relay sit-in-Protest started at Jantar Mantar, N. Delhi.

09.12.2015: Coffin Rally at Jantar Mantar, N. Delhi on attaining 100 days of protest.

08.06.2016: Demonstration/protest in front of Manipur Bhawan at Sardar Patel Marg, N. Delhi by protesters, about 25 persons injured.

10.05.2017: MOU signed between Manipur State Govt. and JACAATB.

24.05.2017: Tribal Martrys buried near Mata Dam (633rd day counting from 31st Aug. 2015).

 

Notes: Some of the points in MOU are yet to be achieved even as JACAATB is all set to unveil the statues of the tribal Martyrs day after tomorrow on 31.08.2018
